Bartoli’s shock return

MaRIOn BaRTOLI, who won Wimbledon in 2013, will make a shock comeback at the Miami Open in March — five years after announcing her retirement.

Bartoli, 33, quit less than six weeks after winning her only Grand Slam title at the all England Club, and subsequently suffered with a virus that resulted in dramatic weight loss.

‘I am delighted to announce my comeback on the professional circuit of the WTa next year,’ said the Frenchwoman. ‘It’s going to be a huge challenge. I still have a lot of practice ahead.’
