During its war game, Russia is said to have simulated an all-out attack on the Nato alliance

Defence analysts said its airforce practised raids on coastal targets in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland and Poland. Waves of Tu-95 strategic bombers (pictured) were deployed

The Russian forces rehearsed the capture of the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. There was also anti-submarine warfare and air-defence drills
