China crisis
THE news that former Prime Minister David Cameron has been put in charge of UK-China investment gives me no confidence this initiative will provide any major benefit for the UK (Mail). But I am sure it will be a great deal for China.
Mr Cameron has no experience of running a large international trading company or a creative innovative institution. It is not political brains that forge dynamic economies.
Politicians do not come from the sectors that create and deal with global trade, as proven by our increasing debt-ridden economy.
Dr DAVID HILL, Huddersfield, W. Yorks. IS THE £ 750 million UK- China investment fund a continuation of what the Conservatives are so good at: pretending investment by other countries is anything other than selling Britain to the highest bidder?
