Eye shadow success

MAKE-UP, advent calendars and eye shadow palettes were best sellers at online retailer Feelunique in the run-up to Christmas, as sales hit a record high.

Shoppers bought £12.5m worth of beauty products between November 20 and December 20, 33pc up on the same period last year.

The retailer was spurred by sales in China and France where sales doubled, while sales in the UK rose by 19pc compared to a year earlier.
