Drunk in charge

WHY is alcohol so available in the House of Commons, which is a workplace?

Where else would it be acceptable to be able to consume alcohol in your working hours?

Politicians are running our country and taking votes on matters of extreme importance, so am I the only person who is uncomfortable with the thought of some being under the influence of alcohol?

Everyone is entitled to enjoy a beverage at an office party, but not in your workplace on a daily basis

and in a place of such vast responsibility.
