Plastic waste

SOFT drinks firms are trying to block moves to end the plastic bottle blight by claiming shoppers aren’t worried about it (Mail).

Judging by the number of plastic bottles left in car parks, on roadsides, country lanes, city streets, riverbanks, beaches and every scrap of waste land, I can only conclude they are probably right. T. BAILEY, Nottingham.
