BROAD SWINGING AGAIN

I WAS pleased to see Stuart Broad get a few runs. This is a lad, don’t forget, who once made 169 in a Test against Pakistan at Lord’s. But he got hit on the head a couple of times and lost his nerve. He’s worked out that the only way to go now is to play a few shots. Broad (right) played like an old-fashioned tail-ender: have some fun and have a swing!
