WHAT HAS HE GOT?

THIS strapping leader of the line looks like a throwback to when brave centre forwards showed no fear and hustled opposition defenders. McBurnie (right) is 6ft 2in and enjoys the high ball delivery. From accurate angled forward balls from his centre backs, he jumped early in a recent game and made it most difficult for his marker to get a clean defensive clearance. Twice his flickons almost led to a goal when a sharp midfield runner saw the opportunity to take advantage of his touch. Always on the move, he spun out wide, seeking the ball down the line to stretch the opposition with determined runs. I like his attitude, very competitive.
