Tess Daly shares £770k payout with husband

VERNON Kay’s television shows never seem to last long, but the presenter has made one wise decision – sticking with his wife, the Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly.

Just as Kay, 43, was embroiled in controversy last year over his links to glamour model Rhian Sugden, Tess agreed to join his business, 21 TV Ltd.

And newly published accounts disclose that the couple, who have been married since 2003 and have two children, shared a dividend of almost £770,000 from the company.

Tess, 48, became a director and shareholder of 21 TV, which describes its business at Companies House as ‘radio broadcasting’.

When the BBC revealed the pay of its stars earlier this year, Tess was listed as earning between £350,000 and £399,000 per annum.
