OIL and gas company Quadrise Fuels slumped despite updating investors on the progress of its next boiler trial.

It expects the trial at its project in Saudi Arabia to start soon while progress is being made towards finalising agreements for the project.

It added that installations for fuel production are ‘essentially’ complete.

But investors were dismayed after it said it will not start the trial until all the agreements are sealed, and shares fell 11.8pc, or 1.62p, to 12.12p.
