Newly divorced Louise ditches ring for gig
SHE ended her 1 -year marriage in a 25-second court hearing on Friday. And signalling she is ready to move on from her ex-husband Jamie, Louise Redknapp ditched her wedding ring for a New Year’s Eve comeback gig.
The 43-year-old showed off her svelte figure in a pair of thigh-high leather boots and a black blazer worn over a plunging black dress as she performed at London’s G-A-Y nightclub on Sunday night.
The former Eternal singer, who was a finalist in Strictly Come Dancing in 2016, beamed as she performed hits including covers of songs by her old girl band.
Supporting her was her former Strictly partner Kevin Clifton, who posed for a photograph with the star and the dancers backstage. During her stint in the competition, Louise posted a number of tributes to Clifton thanking him ‘for being with [her] every step of the way’. In court papers, the mother of two cited her ex-husband’s ‘unreasonable behaviour’ as the reason for the breakdown of their marriage.
