AS A child, Chris Packham was obsessed with dinosaurs. But one in particular had a special place in his heart, and will ‘always be my first love’ — the tyrannosaurus rex. This terrific one-off follows a palpably excited Chris as he fulfils a childhood dream, travelling the world, talking to experts and making use of the latest CGI wizardry in a bid to build an up-to-date and scientifically accurate picture of the most notoriously terrifying monster ever to walk the planet. In Texas, he even gets to walk in the footprints of an actual dinosaur — for Chris (pictured), it simply doesn’t get better than this.
