My player is no cheat!
EXCLUSIVE BY CRYSTAL PALACE CHAIRMAN STEVE PARISH
CRYSTAL PALACE chairman Steve Parish has passionately defended Wilfried Zaha after the Football Association decided not to take action against the forward for the controversial penalty he was awarded against Manchester City on Sunday. Zaha was widely criticised — including by Chris Sutton and Graham Poll in The Verdict — for going down in the area after a challenge by Raheem Sterling. But Parish hit back at the critics and told Sportsmail: ‘It is outrageous to accuse Wilf of being a diver. No one can accuse him of being a cheat. It’s total nonsense. He should have had 10 penalties this season.’
