FA Cup’s half empty
THE FA Cup has been reduced to a second-class competition that can’t even get you into the Champions League.
So it’s little surprise the big clubs consider the competition for this piece of silverware as more of a nuisance than an ambition. It’s seen as a runout for second string players.
The FA Cup would be a better contest if the Premier League was excused from being in the draw.
