M&S’s new collection – in sizes 18 to 32

GOOD news for anyone who struggles to fit into the sizes in so many High Street shops: style stalwart M& S has launched its first specially-tailored collection for larger women. The Curve collection contains everything from loungewear to glamorous black dresses in sizes 18 to 32.

And they aren’t simply scaled up versions of the regular line. Instead, they’ve been designed with curves in mind so they’ll look flattering and feel comfortable. There are around 100 pieces in the collection, all in fabric that they claim skims the silhouette and won’t cling.

It’s a savvy move — a recent study found that more than nine in ten women were ‘annoyed at High Street sizes’ and stores such as Debenhams have already released their own plus-size styles.

Some pieces are available online now; the full collection will be on sale from January 23 at marksandspencer.com and in 30 UK stores.
