Chaplin to do the funny catwalk for Dolce & Gabbana
CHARLIE CHAPLIN’S dashing grandson Kevin is doing his part to keep the family name alive.
I can reveal that the 23- year- old from Geneva has been handpicked by designers Dolce & Gabbana to open their Men’s Fashion Week show in Milan today.
His catwalk debut might come as a surprise given that Kevin, son of Eugene Chaplin and Bernadette McCready, is a recent graduate of the EU Business School in Switzerland, where he studied finance.
But his career prospects were transformed when his model and actress sister Kiera, 35, introduced him to the celebrated Italian duo last summer, where they immediately snapped him up.
‘I’m so happy to have this opportunity to walk for Dolce & Gabbana,’ Kevin tells me.
‘And I’d like to think my grandfather would be very proud of me.’ So long as he does a comedy wonky walk.
