New Look stores at risk

STRUGGLING New Look is considering closing 60 of its High Street stores.

Its South African owner is reported to be exploring a company voluntary agreement (CVA), which will allow it to negotiate which stores it closes while trying to secure rent reductions.

If the fashion retailer does slim down, it could mean one-tenth of its 600 shops in the UK are axed.
