Carroll would NOT solve striker crisis

YOU can see why Chelsea would be attracted to signing Andy Carroll. Too often, they have struggled to break down teams. They think Carroll would make a bigger impact than Michy Batshuayi. But I struggle to see how he would fit into Antonio Conte’s team. Carroll is not mobile enough to play up front on his own. Chelsea would have to change their style to accommodate him. Then there are the questions over his fitness. Carroll cannot be trusted as a reliable alternative.
