A House Through Time, 9pm, 9 BBC2 DAVID OLUSOGA’S (pictured) fascinatin­g journey through the history of a single house in Liverpool continues. Episode three of four introduces us to its

residents during the turbulent period between 1891 and 1945. It’s a tale told mainly through the lives of the Snewings, a large family of saddlers who lived in the house for more than four decades, as it grew shabbier and shabbier in the shadow of two World Wars and the Great Depression.
