LEICESTER MAKE EVANS MOVE AS CITY BIDE TIME
LEICESTER CITY are ready to spark another scramble for Jonny Evans after reviving interest in the West Brom centre back. Leicester, MANCHESTER CITY and ARSENAL had bids of up to £25m rejected last summer but Evans, 30, looks certain to leave this month. All three clubs are still interested but Evans (right) wants a move to City. However, despite talks between West Brom and City’s director of football Txiki Begiristain, City have yet to make their move. Arsenal will step up their pursuit once Alexis Sanchez’s future is sorted out.
