Job with a perk...holidays with royals

IF IT’S your dream to holiday with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, it might be time to update your CV.

Buckingham Palace is advertising for a communications assistant to be whisked away on foreign tours with the royals.

The 12-month Royal Household role, advertised on the LinkedIn website, is based at the palace but promises ‘travel in the UK or overseas to support important visits and engagements’.

Recent royal tours include trips to Barbados and India.

The role also involves organising garden parties and writing Press releases and updates for the Royal Family’s website.

The salary is not specified, but it comes with a ‘comprehensive’ benefits package including 33 days’ holiday.

The successful candidate will be expected to ‘consistently spark interest and reach a range of audiences’.
