Still fighting, Fonda at 80

JANE Fonda is still a passionate campaigner at heart. The Oscar-winning actress joined protesters at the Women’s March in Utah yesterday, wrapped up against the cold in a scarf, gloves and hat. Raising a fist and calling for women’s equality, the 80-year-old star told the crowd: ‘When we are equal, we are not abused.’ Back in 1 72, her political stance was far more controversial when she posed on an anti-aircraft gun on a visit to Hanoi. Miss Fonda, pictured above at an anti-war protest, was accused of campaigning against US soldiers fighting in Vietnam and dubbed Hanoi Jane.
