IN THE era of the selfie, how do you stand out from the crowd? Prince Philip’s interior designer godson Ashley Hicks and his fashionista wife, Kata de Solis, have come up with a typically stylish solution.

They announced the birth of their first child, Caspian Donald, yesterday with an art work by their friend Donald Robertson.

In the illustration (above right), which Kata (left, with Caspian), 36, shared online, Caspian is dressed as a bee and cradled in his mother’s arms. Ashley, 54, the grandson of the 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma, stands behind them.

Ashley has two daughters with his first wife, fashion designer Allegra Hicks, 57. During high jinks at his wedding to Kata in 2015, his elder daughter, Angelica, now 25, shoved her new stepmother’s face into the cake.
