HOW HE MATCHES UP WITH DIMITROV
Grigor Dimitrov, 26, world No3 Form: Has come through some tough matches, particularly in beating Nick Kyrgios 7-6, 7-6, 4-6, 7-6 before a partisan crowd yesterday. Battle hardened but, like Edmund, has considerable mileage in his legs.
Head to head: The two have met twice, in the ATP events in Brisbane this month and Washington DC last year. Dimitrov won both in the third set. Edmund has improved since, but so has the Bulgarian.
Verdict: Edmund will be second favourite, but if he serves well he will be a handful.
