Forget Mickey – I saw Dave at Disneyland!

- By Xantha Leatham

IT’S supposed to be ‘the place where all your dreams come true’ – but one recent visitor to Disneyland Paris looked less than thrilled to be there.

David Cameron was caught on camera at the resort over the weekend, braving the dreary weather in a waterproof jacket. He also appeared to have taken a style tip from Jeremy Corbyn, sporting a flat cap to protect him from the rain.

In the main picture, UK tourist Emma Barnes beams in a Minnie Mouse headband while the former prime minister stands alone in the background.

She wrote: ‘As if I was just stood next to David Cameron at Disneyland and I bottled it… glad to see he’s still enjoying free movement of people in the EU.’

Dozens of others took to social media to say they had spotted Mr Cameron in and around Paris in the past few days.

One claimed to have seen him up the Eiffel Tower, while another said they were eating in the same restaurant.

Mr Cameron, the former MP for Witney, became prime minister in 2010 but stepped down from his post after the country voted to leave the EU in 2016.

The 51-year-old has said he is writing his Downing Street memoirs in a luxury £25,000 shed at the bottom of his garden in the Cotswolds.
