SHRUBSOLE MAKES S WISDEN HISTORY

ANYA SHRUBSOLE, hero of england’s World Cup win at lord’s last year, has become the first woman to appear on the cover of the Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack. Shrubsole took six for 46, with five wickets in 19 balls, to help england beat India. ‘It’s an honour and privilege to be on the cover of Wisden,’ she said.
