SPOT THE QUEEN OF HOLLYWOOD

The Crown’s Claire joins new Tinseltown royalty

-

RECLINING front and centre in a nude off-the-shoulder gown, she is the only Briton among a sprinkling of Hollywood royalty.

But who better to strike a regal pose than Claire Foy, the 33-yearold actress who has been playing the Queen in hit Netflix drama series The Crown.

She is pictured with a selection of stars and lesser known names for the annual Hollywood issue of

Vanity Fair, with a cameo appearance from the magazine’s outgoing editor, Graydon Carter, 68 (second right).

From left, the array of talent begins with talk show host and actress Oprah Winfrey, 63, with Nicole Kidman, 50, at her feet and fellow Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon, 41, by her side. Next to them are Tom Hanks, 61, Michael B Jordan, 30, who stars in forthcoming superhero film Black Panther, 21-year-old singer and actress Zendaya, and Michael Shannon, 47, who played Superman’s nemesis Zod in 2013’s Man of Steel. Behind Miss Foy is Jessica Chastain, 40, star of the Oscar-nominated Molly’s Game, with the line-up completed by Harrison Ford, 75 – the only man not wearing white tie – Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot, 32, and 74-year-old Robert De Niro.
