Last straw for Ambridge!

AFTER many years of faithful listening, I have given up on the tedious plotlines in The Archers.

The drawn- out story of two gay men seeking a surrogate to carry their child, interspersed with an on/ off pregnancy/abortion story and a pathetic father-to-be wittering on endlessly about scans and babies has been the last straw.

So much for an everyday story of country folk.
