Follow-up

I SMILEd at Brian davis mishearing ‘Miss durrant’ as ‘Mr Rant’ (Peterborough), as it reminded me of one of our local newspaper reporters. As a Cub Scout leader, I rang the newspaper to arrange coverage of one of our events and was told that ‘Irish Stew’ would attend. It wasn’t until the reporter turned up, that I realised she was called Iris dew!
