HEROIC EDMUND ROSE TO THE MURRAY TEST

MARIN CILIC had too much for him yesterday, but Kyle Edmund’s run to the semi-final of the Australian Open has been nothing less than heroic. Nobody expected British interest in the second week of the Grand Slam with Andy Murray injured, but Edmund rose to the challenge. Doing so again and again is what made Murray exceptional, however. If Edmund shows even half his fight he will still be some player.
