Meryl’s Streep learning curve
SHe may have been nominated for 21 Oscars but meryl Streep still forgets her lines and claims to lack self-confidence.
Streep, 68 — up for another best actress Oscar this coming week as newspaper proprietor Katharine Graham in The Post — admits: ‘Before I begin making any movie, I say to my husband: “Why did I take this job? I don’t know what I’m doing.”
‘ I’ve worked with some amazingly talented young actors and actresses over the last few years. They don’t seem to feel too intimidated by me. Or if they do, it’s all over when I forget my lines on the first day of shooting.’
