Foodie’s rant at beauty guru Tilbury’s products

She is the favoured beauty guru of Sienna Miller and even created Amal Clooney’s wedding make-up look.

however, it seems Charlotte Tilbury has fallen out of favour with children’s food expert Annabel Karmel, who issued a rant at Tilbury’s eye make-up remover, which, she says, left her eyes ‘red and swollen’.

‘ Not normally one to complain. I am going to make an exception,’ wrote Karmel on social media. ‘I thought it was about time to use an eye cream so I bought Magic eye Rescue by Charlotte Tilbury, hoping it would do what it says on the tin. And I splurged out on their Take It All Off gentle eye make-up remover.

‘After using both for two days, my eyes became red and swollen and I looked like I had been in a boxing match.’

Karmel claims she took her products back to the store from where she purchased them, but was told she couldn’t get a refund and was given the details of someone to contact.

She added the customer service is ‘sorely lacking’.
