CHARCOAL is one of the most effective skincare ingredients for drawing out impurities, leaving skin glowing.

Now, supermarket aldi is harnessing the power of the super ingredient in its new charcoal-based collection.

The lacura Charcoal range (prices from £1.29, aldi stores nationwide) includes cleansing wipes, micellar water and the star of the line-up: a mud mask (above).

It bears a resemblance to luxury brand Glamglow’s Youthmud, which costs £42 — £36 more than aldi’s £5.99 version.

The Charcoal Clearing Mud Mask also contains coconut, bamboo and eucalyptus oil, to tighten pores and help reduce imperfections.
