Hard work has paid off

WHEN I had Harry Kane at Norwich, did I see him hitting the heights he has now? No.

But you have to give him credit for how he’s developed his game. He has always been a goalscorer. I can remember in the spell I had at Norwich in 2012-13, after training every day he would work on his finishing and he could strike such a clean ball with his left or right foot with so much pace.

I’ve known Harry through my connections at Spurs and know what a good player he is. He’s shown a mobility that perhaps in his early years people felt he didn’t have. Playing well or not, you can see him scoring goals.
