Cheat Ewan’s birthday girl grieves for her family
BIRTHDAYS are meant to be happy occasions, but when Ewan McGregor’s model daughter Clara turned 22 at the weekend she instead found herself longing for the time her parents were still together. Her anniversary on Sunday was particularly poignant as it was her first since the Trainspotting star, 46, ended his 22-year marriage to Clara’s mother, French film producer Eve Mavrakis, 51, last year. spotted kissing 33-year-old actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead, his co-star in Fargo, at a restaurant in North London in October. New York University student Clara posted this throwback snap online in which she is cradled by her mother while Ewan looks youthful with long hair. ‘Twenty-two and nostalgic,’ she captioned the image. Ewan and Eve have three other daughters, including Jamyan, 16, whom they adopted from Mongolia, Esther, 16, and seven-year-old Anouk.
