National drink problem
MUCh has been made about dry January and how people stopped drinking, which is commendable. But can someone explain why, if you go out for a meal or to a bar and don’t want alcohol, you have little choice except for water or sugary drinks?
If the government is serious about the alcohol problem in this country, a tax on alcoholic drinks or minimum prices will not do it.
If you have a weight problem, there are various methods of support. If you are a smoker, there are gums, patches, e- cigarettes and stop smoking courses.
Why is there nothing for alcohol? It can’t be that difficult to make not drinking part of a normal lifestyle.
