SHARES in Softcat, which sells computer technology to companies, rose yesterday.
In a trading update for the six months to January 31, the IT infrastructure provider said performance had been strong with profits rising 22pc.
Softcat made its public debut in 2015 and quickly joined the ranks of the FTSE 250.
The company, with offices throughout the UK, is currently worth about £1bn, with shares rising 66.6pc in the past year. Softcat edged up 0.6pc, or 3p, to 521p yesterday.
