Gemma bonds with her new beau as Irons gets hands-on

IT WAS a clash of the ’taches at the press night for Jeremy Irons’ return to the West End stage for the first time in a decade. Former Bond girl Gemma Arterton made her first public appearance with her hirsute new love, Irish actor Rory Keenan.

The couple, left, were at Wyndham’s Theatre where Rory is starring in drama Long Day’s Journey Into Night. They weren’t the only ones putting on a public display of affection.

Moustachioed Jeremy Irons, 69, right, was getting very handson with his co- star Lesley Manville, who plays his wife in the same show.

His actual partner Sinead Cusack, with whom Irons celebrates his 40th wedding anniver-

sary next month, was conspicuous by her absence.

Arterton, 32, and Keenan, 37, who appeared in TV’s Peaky Blinders, started dating last year. Gemma was previously married to Italian businessman Stefano Catelli, whom she divorced in 2015 and had a relationship with film producer Franklin Ohanessian.
