DEEP SPACE DRAMA The Orville, 9pm, Fox

ROB LOWE makes his second appearance in Seth MacFarlane’s gleeful Star Trek spoof, although you might struggle to recognise him under the make-up. There’s a plot in here about peace talks on the ship between warring races (a classic Trek premise), but the real storyline is romantic, and Lowe’s blue alien is smack in the middle of it.

CATWALK CLASS Making A Model With Yolanda Hadid, 9pm, Lifetime

THE mums join their girls for this new U.S. modelling contest, in which a sharp-eyed Yolanda (pictured) stresses the importance of the bond between the generation­s. As mothers and daughters work together in this first assignment, Yolanda monitors the balance of power.

ANCIENT EPIC Britannia, 9pm, Sky Atlantic

MACKENZIE CROOK’S druid is the most sinister element of Sky’s barmy drama, which is set between the invading Romans and the superstiti­ous Celts. As with Rob Lowe in The Orville, Crook (pictured) ) is not easy to recognise under the make-up, but his character’s power over the Celts is very clear — especially tonight.

GAME shooting is worth £120 million to the Yorkshire economy. In this episode of the gentle series, we receive an inside perspectiv­e on pheasants from gamekeeper David (‘I think they’re very clever, some people think they’re daft’) and meet people who shoot them.
