- by Alison Boshoff

SEAN CONNERY — eight

THE Bond actor, now 87, confessed to an interviewer that he was only eight years old when he had sex, although he could not remember anything else about it. He told For Women magazine: ‘I can’t recall how it happened or with whom — I only know I did. I have always loved women — blonde, brunette but preferably foreign. They’re more attractive than British and American women.’

He added that he wasn’t successful with women until he was 20. ‘I paid 15 shillings a week to join a weightlifting club. I started lifting weights, not so much to be fitter but to look good for girls.’

GEORGE HAMILTON — 12

FILM star ‘Gorgeous’ George has a reputation as a ladykiller, and has told interviewers that his first sexual experiences came in 1951 when he was only 12. Shockingly, the woman in question was his stepmother, singer June Howard. He said: ‘June was a sexy lioness, the sort of woman whose pelvis met you half an hour before the rest of her.

‘One rainy day while staying with them in their New York apartment, I was lying on a day-bed. Dad was out. June, in an ice-blue diaphanous dressing gown, came over to join me. She lay down and mentioned something about “cuddling”.

‘What followed was as natural as the birds and bees neither of my parents had got around to telling me about.’

JOHNNY DEPP — 13

THE Pirates Of The Caribbean star said he was only 13 when he lost his virginity — on the back seat of a car. At the time he was a guitarist in a band called Flame, and the girl was a fan.

He, of course, also went on to date Kate Moss, who’s just admitted she was only a year older when she lost hers.

ANGELINA JOLIE — 14

THE actress and humanitarian has said she was 14 when she lost her virginity: ‘I had started having sex with my boyfriend, and the sex and the emotions didn’t feel enough. I was no longer a little girl.

‘In a moment of wanting to feel closer to my boyfriend, I grabbed a knife and cut him. He cut me back. We had an exchange of something and we were covered in blood, my heart was racing.’

In that same interview she claimed that she was sexually active in primary school, saying she took her clothes off and ‘made out’ with boys.

THE late Hollywood star claimed in his celebrated memoir The Moon’s A Balloon that he lost his virginity aged 14 to Nessie, a 17-year- old Soho prostitute with lovely legs and blue eyes, while Yes We Have No Bananas played on the gramophone.

As he told it, she did not charge him for sex because she felt sorry for him, and even visited him at Stowe public school, where they had sex again on a tartan picnic rug in the school grounds and she was introduced to the headmaster, who declared her charming.

Some contemporaries suggested that she never existed and that his story was concocted from memories of several prostitutes he had encountered as a teenager.

He added: ‘Nowadays, though, I think 15 is too young. If the age of consent was 18 or 20, it might take pressure off young people, and you’d still have 40 or 50 years of lovemaking left.’

He went on: ‘I was 16, they were 30, friends of my mother’s.’

I was 19, which was quite late, and I was working backstage at the National Theatre until I went to drama school. I was extremely plump and word must have got round that I was still a virgin.

‘It was a one-night stand and happened at a New Year’s eve party. It put me off sex for about two years.’

Only once she had left showbusiness to attend Ivy League Princeton University did she lose her virginity, to student dean Cain, later famous in The New Adventures Of Superman TV series.
