LAIDLAW: I’M STILL A LEADER
GREIG LAIDLAW may no longer be Scotland skipper but the scrum-half insists he will do his all to inspire his side to victory against France.
The Clermont Auvergne man is back in the starting XV for the first time in a year for tomorrow’s Six Nations clash at Murrayfield with the Scots anxious to move on from the 34-7 defeat by Wales.
John barclay is now captain but Laidlaw said: ‘ I’ve always set about leading by example when I play for Scotland and that won’t change. I will be demanding high standards of everyone.’
Meanwhile, fly- half Lionel beauxis will make his first appearance for France in six years. The 32-year- old replaces the injured Matthieu Jalibert.
