Joan heals rift with son over ‘sex addict’ dad

DAME JOAN COLLINS appears to have healed the rift with her son, artist Alexander ‘Sacha’ Newley, who upset the Dynasty star last year in an interview to promote his autobiography.

Newley said his late father Anthony — Joan’s second husband — was a ‘classic sex addict’ with ‘paedophile’ tendencies who was ‘drawn to youthfulness’. Dame Joan refuted the claims as ‘absolutely untrue’ and didn’t attend her son’s book launch, saying she had the flu.

Happily, the actress was all smiles during lunch at The Ivy in London at the weekend with Newley, 52, who confirmed their reunion by posting online this picture (above).
