SHE’S more used to arriving at red carpet events by limousine. For her latest premiere, however, Dame Helen Mirren took the bus.
The 72-year-old actress was in Rome for the premiere of her latest movie Winchester, in which plays an eccentric heiress haunted by lost souls in her California mansion.
And carrying this eccentricity over into real life, the Oscar-winner decided to arrive in a custom black bus decorated with lace. Dame Helen, who wore an elegant red dress with sequined sleeves, also played up the film’s horror theme as she jokingly brandished a large knife to cut a cake at the event.
