Low-tech loves

-

I, TOO, enjoy low-tech pleasures ( Letters), but am finding them harder to come by.

My car was stolen and my insurance company arranged a replacement. When I picked it up, the salesman proudly told me my new car had ‘improved connectivity’ — but it didn’t come with a CD player.

He said I could download my CDs on to my phone and play them that way, but as I have more than 3,000 CDs, that would be a long, arduous process. Far easier just to grab a CD I want to hear and pop it into the player in an non-improved car.

T. BaILeY, nottingham. SORRy, Harry Wallop, I am still using my original 20-year-old email address and don’t see why I should change it (Mail). I send e-cards, listen to music, create youTube movies with backing tracks and make greeting cards from my photos for a charity. Forget silver surfers; we’re now in the age of golden geeks!
