Judi Dench’s actress daughter, Finty Williams, reveals the perks of working next door to Hollywood star George Clooney: free drinks.

‘I’m about to do a play at The Mill in Sonning, directed by Ray Cooney.

‘George Clooney and Amal live next door to the theatre,’ she tells me. ‘Not the last time I did a thing there, but the thing before they came and saw it.

‘Well, she didn’t, because she was just about to have her baby, but he did, and he bought us all drinks afterwards.

‘ He was really lovely. They’re really nice people.’
