I Am disappointed that meghan markle is to be baptised into the church of england.

I was encouraged by harry’s choice of partner and his general attitude towards taking the Royal Family into the future. So I wonder why he has been persuaded to go along with this step backwards.

The worship of unprovable deities is a thing of the past. britain has come a long way in leaving behind primitive beliefs, yet harry seems to be endorsing one of our most nasty kings, henry VIII, who imposed his own beliefs on the country for dubious reasons. CHRIS RANDALL, Rendlesham, Suffolk.
