SHARES in goods transporter Xpediator motored up after an impressive trading update. The firm, which listed on Aim in August, says revenue will rise 59pc to £116m in the year to December 31, and profits are expected to be up.

Around £10m of its earnings comes from three businesses it bought last year – EMT Logistics, Benfleet Forwarding and Regional Express.

Essex- based Xpediator employs more than 600 people. Its shares increased 13pc, or 5p, to 43.5p.
