China’s electric mini

ELECTRIC-POWERED Minis could soon be built in China.

BMW, which owns the Mini brand, is in advanced talks with Chinese manufacturer Great Wall Motors to produce cars for the Chinese market. But the two firms have yet to work out exactly where the production line will be located and how much they will invest.

And production will not begin until the early or mid-2020s.
