DITCH YOUR LIPPIE FOR LINER

IF YOU want your lip colour to last longer, consider ditching lipstick altogether — and cheating with liner.

For fuller-looking lips, try make-up queen Charlotte Tilbury’s top tip of slightly overdrawing the natural lip line, before using your liner to fill them in. This not only creates the perfect shape, but helps your colour stay in place.

Tilbury’s five new shades of Lip Cheat liner (centre right, £16 each, charlottetilbury.com) are ideal for this. My favourite is Supersize Me, a neutral nude with a hint of pink.

If you’re worried that liner will dry out your lips, try the brilliant Buxom PlumpLine lip liners (near right, £15, cult beauty.co.uk), which have a smooth, matte finish and don’t drag as you apply them.
