Driver who killed 3 teens was 2.5 times drink limit
A DRUNK driver yesterday admitted killing three boys as they walked to a 16th birthday party.
Jaynesh Chudasama, 28, was more than two-and-a-half times the alcohol limit and had traces of cannabis in his system when he ploughed into the teenagers – at 71mph on a 60mph road.
Semi-professional footballer Harry Rice, 17, apprentice electrician George Wilkinson, 16, and labourer Josh McGuinness, 16, were killed instantly.
They had been with five friends on their way to a party at Goals five-a-side football club in Hayes, West London, on January 26. The driver tried to flee but was pinned down by two of their friends.
Chudasama, a car hire worker from Hayes, pleaded guilty to three counts of causing death by dangerous driving during a hearing at the Old Bailey. Sentencing was adjourned until March 9.
